This book describes the activity of going to the restaurant using 12 simple clear pictures.

I find it useful to use the book as a prompt to ‘play restaurant’ at home and to talk about your favourite food. It is helpful to bring the book along with you to the restaurant so the child can visually see what stage/picture they are at.

There is a clock used to show that we have to wait for our food after ordering. The book also gives opportunity to talk about the other people that will be at the restaurant and the importance of manners.
