The Off We Go! series can be used as part of the SPHE Social Personal and Health Education, SESE Social Environmental and Scientific Education and Language Support sections of the primary school curriculum. They help the child with social, personal and health education. The diversity of characters in the Off We Go! series from different ethnic backgrounds and disabilities, support the child to develop a positive framework of values, attitudes and understanding. The emphasis on functional practical text/words in the books, provide excellent support for language development, particularly for English as a second language.
