I was introduced to David through my son Stephen’s classmate Christia. Stephen and Christia attend St Vincents Special School, Lisnagry, Limerick in Ireland. I was at a coffee morning at the school and I was sharing with the other Mums how using pictures in a book format with practical language worked well with Stephen. At that time, I had just created my ‘Going to the Dentist’ and ‘Going Swimming’ books. They were a mixture of pictures and photos. The teachers at Stephen and Christia’s school asked me if I could re-make my books with simple clear pictures. Christia’s Mum Sandra said she knew just the person to help me and introduced me to David!
